Our health guarantee

All puppies purchased come with a health guarantee. Within 10 days of purchasing your new Corgi, Maltese or Pomsky puppy, you must take it to a licensed veterinarian for examination. If, within 10 days of purchase, the vet finds that your dog is clinically ill or has died from an injury or illness that it is likely to have contracted on or before the day of sale and delivery, you can contact us.

Our Corgi, Maltese or Pomsky puppies are guaranteed to be 100% healthy and free from signs of infection and contagious or communicable diseases at the time of adoption. We are proud of the fact that our relationship with you does not end when you take home a Corgi, Maltese or Pomsky puppy from us. As a family of breeders, experienced Corgi, Maltese or Pomsky puppy consultants and die-hard Corgi, Maltese or Pomsky puppy lovers, we would like to think that nothing can ever go wrong with our Corgi, Maltese or Pomsky puppies. However, certain things are never in our hands. The health of a Corgi, Maltese or Pomsky puppy depends on many factors such as genetics, exercise, diet and care. While we cannot guarantee that your Corgi, Maltese or Pomsky puppy will never have a health problem, we can guarantee that we will do our best to make sure your new family member is healthy!

We do not believe that your Corgi, Maltese or Pomsky puppy is replaceable, but we do believe that sometimes the pain can be eased in the company of another furry friend. In the unlikely event that your Corgi, Maltese or Pomsky puppy dies within one year of its birth for genetic reasons, or if the Corgi, Maltese or Pomsky puppy is found to have congenital or hereditary disorders (within one year) that adversely affect the health of your Corgi, Maltese or Pomsky puppy, we will replace the Corgi, Maltese or Pomsky puppy with another of equal value free of charge. The cause of death must be confirmed by a licensed veterinarian.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Nothing pleases us more than knowing that we have been able to bring a healthy, happy Corgi, Maltese or Pomsky puppy into your home. We ask for your help to keep your Corgi, Maltese or Pomsky puppy healthy. Here are some things you can do to help: Send us a copy of the examination (medical record) within 4 business days of receiving your Corgi, Maltese or Pomsky puppy. The examination must be carried out by a licensed veterinarian. Your Corgi, Maltese or Pomsky puppy will be delivered with up-to-date, age-appropriate vaccinations. So make sure you do not vaccinate within the first ten days of receiving your Corgi, Maltese or Pomsky puppy. Whilst we will worm and vaccinate your Corgi, Maltese or Pomsky puppy up to the date of departure, we would like you to continue to have them properly wormed and regularly examined until they are 16 weeks old or over (or as recommended by your vet).

EXCEPTIONS TO OUR WARRANTY

We cannot guarantee the disposition or temperament, conformation, size, weight, color, markings or suitability for breeding of your new Corgi, Maltese or Pomsky puppy. If you do not have your Corgi, Maltese or Pomsky puppy vaccinated on time or receive regular veterinary care, this guarantee is void. This guarantee does not cover any costs associated with castration or undescended testicles.

We require all our Corgi, Maltese or Pomsky puppies to have a full health check before they come to your home. This health check is carried out by our vet who must complete our veterinary health report. This report, prepared for us by a licensed veterinarian, examines the condition of each Corgi, Maltese or Pomsky puppy for heart and circulation, skin, coat, eyes, mouth, teeth, gums, musculoskeletal system, respiratory system, ears, urogenital tract and gastrointestinal tract.

We require this report to be completed close to the date your Corgi, Maltese or Pomsky puppy arrives at your home to ensure that your Corgi, Maltese or Pomsky puppy’s health examination is up to date. This report will then be reviewed internally by our veterinarian for any issues or concerns. We also require that you have your Corgi, Maltese or Pomsky puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within four days of receiving the Corgi, Maltese or Pomsky puppy.
